Cordyceps
Cordyceps is a type of mushroom that grows in China at an altitude of 3000 to 5000 metres. After harvesting the mushroom, it is processed into a fine powder. In China, Cordyceps is known as a natural medicine. The mushroom is used for various ailments and for nourishing Ying and Yang. In Chinese the mushroom is also called Winter Worm Summer Grass because in winter the Cordyceps grows on the caterpillar of the moth and in summer, a fungus grows from it that looks like orange grass.
Wild Cordyceps are very rare and therefore very expensive, which is why the majority of Cordyceps are cultivated. For this it is important that the soil has the right composition. Our Cordyceps therefore grows on a nutrient medium of organic rice and organic silkworm protein.
Outside China Cordyceps is often used by athletes to improve their stamina. Besides sports application Cordyceps can also help to lower cholesterol levels, support kidney and liver function and support the heart and blood vessels.
Chaga
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus Fuscoporia obliqua) is the most common name (Russian: pronounced chah-ga) for a fungus or mushroom from the Hymenochaetaceae family. Chaga is used and sold as a medicinal mushroom and therefore enjoys above-average fame among the general public. Scientists have been researching this fungus for many decades.
Our Chaga is collected in Northeast China (also in Inner Mongolia and Siberia), on birch trees. The Chaga contains polysaccharides, beta-glucans, lanostans, triterpenes, betulin, lanosterol, enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD), inotodiol, , germanium, zinc, boron and all amino acids except isoleucine. The content of the various minerals varies from location to location and from geographical area to geographical area. Basically, the colder the climate, the more vitamins and antioxidants are formed in the Chaga.
Reishi
The remote and mountainous forests of China, Japan and Korea are home to the extraordinary Reishi mushrooms. These Mushrooms grow in places that are warm, humid and shady, where they can grow on the lower trunk of deciduous hardwood trees.
Reishi mushrooms have been used for thousands of years in an ancient oriental medicine. When you see the Reishi mushroom you will immediately notice that it has a distinctive red cap. A fresh mushroom is picked between August and October and is soft and corky to the touch.
Reishi mushrooms are best known for boosting the immune system. The Reishi mushroom can improve your overall physical condition. The Reishi mushroom has numerous other properties that can have an effect on your body:

Lion's Mane/Hericium
The Hericium erinaceus / Lion's Mane / Monkey Head is found in North America, Europe and Asia. The colour of the Lion's maneis white to light orange. The mushroom can have a diameter of 25 centimetres. The Lion's mane is popular in Chinese cuisine. After harvesting, it is processed into a fine powder and then encapsulated in the Netherlands.
The Lion's Mane Mushroom, also known as Monkey Head or Hericium, contains a variety of biovital substances. It contains all eight essential amino acids. The fruiting body contains 19 free amino acids and numerous micronutrients. With the elements zinc, iron, selenium and germanium, it is a natural powerhouse of several important substances.
Lion's Mane mushroom contributes to the development of the brain through its regulatory effect during and after a stress response in the brain. It can also promote myelination, which is the process by which signals are transmitted through the nerves.
Selenium is an important cell protection factor, its antioxidant potential is high. A number of substances belonging to different classes of compounds, such as special cytotoxic fatty acids, phenols (hericenones, hericenes) and vitamin D ergosterol), lectins and antimicrobial agents have been found in Shrubby Mushroom/Lionsmane. In terms of minerals, a similarity was found with the values of other edible mushrooms. Besides high potassium contents (254 mg) and phosphate contents (109 mg), low sodium contents (8 mg) were found in 100 g. Thus, the potassium/sodium ratio can be considered very favourable.

The shiitake does this through the substance Eritdenine, an alkaloid that holds the lipoproteins in the liver so the liver can process the cholesterol better. Shiitake can also support the maintenance of a healthy blood pressure. The Maitake (Grifola frondosa) has a white to brown-grey colour. The mushroom has a stem with attached fan-shaped caps that can be four to ten centimetres in size. The Maitake mushroom is mainly used in Asian cuisine.
Maitake is naturally very rich in water-soluble fibres, minerals, phospholipids and amino acids. Maitake also contains the anitoxidant L-ergothionein. This antioxidant supports the liver. Furthermore, this mushroom contains beta-glucans (D-fraction).
