What is matcha latte?
Our organic matcha latte is a blend of matcha powder (20%) and coconut blossom sugar (80%). This sugar has a low glycemic index and contains many minerals. The caffeine in the matcha has a stimulating effect for a longer period and the coconut blossom sugar gives energy for a longer period.

Matcha latte recipe:
- Add 1 teaspoon of Matcha Latte powder to a bowl of warm milk.
You can use cow's milk for this, but also unsweetened almond milk if you want to eat vegan. Almond milk also gives a smoother and creamier taste than cow's milk. Choose an unsweetened version though, as there is already sugar in the matcha latte powder. - Whisk the mixture for 20 seconds with a matcha whisk. (Whisk vigorously).
- Drink it warm.
- Then experiment with the amount of powder you use to find the best ratio for you.

Make an iced matcha latte!
recipe iced matcha latte:
- Add 1 teaspoon of Matcha Latte powder to 50 cl of water in a bottle.
- Close the bottle and shake it vigorously.
- Take a long drink glass and put ice cubes in it.
- Fill the glass almost to the brim with unsweetened almond milk or soya milk. Leave enough room for the matcha latte mix.
- Now add the mix and stir well.
- Drink this iced matcha latte ice-cold!
- Then experiment with the amount of powder you use to find the best ratio for yourself.
Smoothies, but also cooking and baking with Matcha Latte!
Matcha Latte powder is also perfect for making smoothies. You can even use it for cooking and baking. The things you make with our Matcha Latte powder get that typical taste of green tea and the coconut blossom sugar gives it a warm sweet note of caramel.
Is matcha latte healthy?
It also slows down the ageing of your body. Matcha strengthens your immune system thanks to potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, iron and proteins.
However, this powder also contains sugar. Everyone knows by now that (too much) sugar is unhealthy. And although the coconut blossom sugar in our matcha latte is not refined, still contains all naturally present minerals and has a low glycemic index, it remains sugar of course.
So is our matcha latte healthy? We keep it simple, that a latte with our Matcha latte powder is a responsible sweetener in a health-conscious diet.
