This C-class is based on the old Canadian grading, in which the class said something about the colour of the syrup. This maple syrup is dark in colour with a robust flavour and therefore falls under the C-class in this old class. Since 2014, there is a new North American classification system, in which the classes are divided into A class, Production class and Substandard class.These classes are no longer dependent on colour, but on the quality of taste, uniformity of colour and the absence of turbidity and sedimentation. This maple syrup falls in the new classification under Class-A - Dark Colour and Robust Taste.

Instructions for using organic maple syrup:

A maple syrup is an excellent sweetener. You can use this sweet syrup in all kinds of baking products, stew, applesauce, fruit salads, muesli and yoghurt, on fruit, ice cream, cakes and pancakes. Can also be used as a sweetener in coffee or tea.
