Usage:

Argan oil is very rich in nourishing, caring substances such as essential fatty acids: various anti-oxidants such as vitamin E: carotenes: squalene and high-quality proteins. Argan oil is a thick oil, which does not feel greasy and is well absorbed by skin and hair. It is suitable for all skin and hair types, but especially for sensitive skin and dry, damaged hair. Argan oil is skin-repairing, caring, calming and nourishing. Argan oil is a good base oil. Combine with essential oils such as peppermint, rosemary and tea tree.

Origin

The argan tree (Argania spinosa) is only found in Morocco. The fruits of the argan tree are green, somewhat like olives. Inside the fruit there is a nut, and inside it kernels. The argan nut contains up to three of these almond-shaped kernels, from which the argan oil is extracted. Both the harvest and the production are done by Amazigh women (Berbers), who have been doing this traditionally for centuries. The argan nuts are manually cracked, ground and pressed to make oil. A liter of argan oil requires about 32 kilograms of fruit, which is equal to the yield of 1 tree per season. Because the argan tree is rare and because of the traditional production method, argan oil is also called "liquid gold". Amazigh means "? Free people". Thousands of women can support six thousand people by producing argan oil.
